Fix missing notifications
Check permission, the app, your phone settings and your manager's side when reminders or schedule alerts do not arrive.
- For owners
- For employees
If a reminder or a schedule alert did not arrive, check these in order.
Steps
- Open your phone's settings, find the app and make sure notifications are allowed. Also check that the phone is not in silent or focus mode.
- Open the app once. Notifications are registered when you open it after seeing your shifts. If you declined at first, allow them now in settings and open the app again.
- Check that you are signed in with the account you joined with. See Sign-in problems.
- Check that the schedule is published. You only get shift alerts for a published week. Managers see the status on the Week tab. See Publish the week.
- Check the time. Quiet hours hold back notifications at night, so they may arrive in the morning.
- If it still fails, open the assistant on the web and choose Write to a person. See Contact support.
Good to know
- Reminders for a shift happen only before shifts that are in a published week and have not started.
- On Android, make sure battery saving is not blocking the app.
- The web dashboard does not send phone notifications. They are for the phone app.
- If a colleague gets them and you do not, the cause is almost always your phone's settings.
