Someone did not show up: find a replacement

The Today panel on the owner home lists today's shifts and who is in, late or missing. When someone does not come, you can fix the shift while it is still happening.

Steps

1. Open Today. If the time clock is on, a shift can show Late or The shift is over and nobody clocked in as a suggestion.
2. Tap Didn't come, Called in sick or Running late on the person's row. Late only adds a note.
3. For a no-show or sick call the shift becomes open and an absence is recorded automatically, so pay and balances follow. Tapped by mistake? Press Undo.
4. Press Find a replacement. The list shows who can cover, best first: not unavailable, no overtime, still under her minimum hours, cheapest.
5. Press Offer for one person or Offer to all eligible. Each gets an urgent notification. The first to accept gets the shift, the others are told it is taken, and you are notified.
6. Or press Leave it open.

Good to know

• It works for published shifts that start within 24 hours, or ended less than 24 hours ago.
• Replacements are checked against position, overlaps, absences, rest rules and weekly limits. People without the app are marked and cannot be asked.
• The cost shown for each person is an estimate used for the order.
• Offering shifts is a paid feature.
• Employees accept from the notification with Take this shift.
