Invite your team to the app

Employees join from a link and sign in. There is no SMS and no text-message code.

Steps

1. At the end of setup, send the week to your WhatsApp group as an image: tap Send the week to your WhatsApp group on the phone, or Send the week as an image to your WhatsApp group on the web. Then send the link: Send the “see only your shifts” link on the phone, or Send the link on WhatsApp or Copy link on the web.
2. On the phone, the same step also has Send by email. Tap Later to skip it.
3. To invite one person, open the Team tab and tap the person. On the web, type their email in the Email field: the invitation is sent to that address. On the phone, under Invite to the app, tap Email the invite, or Share the invite link to send the link yourself.
4. On the phone the person shows as Invited until they open the link and sign in.

Good to know

• The link in the message opens the invitation page, where the person opens the app or installs it.
• The email is in the language of your business. Phone number is optional and is never used to sign in.
• The same link also works if you paste it in any chat, email or message app.
• A personal invitation link works for 14 days and only once. If it expired, send the invitation again from the person's details, which creates a new link.
• You get a notification when someone joins.
• Employees never pay, whatever plan you are on.
• Each person needs a free seat. Free allows 5 employees, and paid plans allow more. See Plans and trial.

If it does not work

• No email arrived: ask the person to check spam, check the address you typed, or send the link on WhatsApp instead.
• The person sees "This invitation is no longer valid": the link was used or has expired. Send a new one.
