Set up your business in 3 minutes

Setup asks one question per screen and ends with a week built for you. A live preview of your own week fills in as you answer.

Steps on the phone

1. Tap I manage a team.
2. Choose your kind of business, then write the business name. The phone reads your country; tap change if it is wrong. Holidays and rest rules start from the country.
3. Tap the days you are open, then check your shifts and their times. Days left off are closed. See Shift templates.
4. Write the team's first names, separated by commas. Three is enough to start. Or tap Use examples. See Add your team.
5. Set how many people each shift needs. Open a position to split it, for example 2 floor and 1 kitchen. See People per shift.
6. Tap Build my week. The schedule fills itself and a note explains it is a first draft, because your team has not shared availability yet.
7. Tap Start my free 14 days or Continue free. You sign in with Apple, Google or email.
8. Send the week: first as an image to your WhatsApp group, then the "see only your shifts" link, or by email. Tap Go to my week when you are done.

Steps on the web

1. Pick your kind of business. We pre-fill typical positions and shifts, and you can change everything later.
2. Enter the business name and choose the country. Holidays and rest rules start from the country.
3. Tap the days you are open, then check your shifts and adjust the start and end times. Days left off are closed. See Shift templates.
4. Add the team: write the first names, or tap Skip: use example names. See Add your team.
5. Set how many people each shift needs, per position. Different numbers on some days are in Different numbers on some days?. See People per shift.
6. Tap Build my week. The schedule fills itself and a note explains it is a first draft built from your roles and numbers.
7. Your schedule is ready. Tap Start my 14 free days (plans are bought in the iOS app) or Continue free.
8. Send the week to your team: Send the week as an image to your WhatsApp group, or Send the link on WhatsApp. Then tap Open my dashboard.

Good to know

• The trial is 14 days with every paid feature. You start it from the App Store or Google Play.
• After the trial you can stay on Free: up to 5 employees, manual scheduling, publishing and notifications. Details in Plans and trial.
• Employees never pay.
• Your answers are saved as you go in this browser, so a reload picks up where you were.
• After setup, the Set up list shows what is left: Who does what, Two quick rules (the two rule questions, which make more sense once you have real names), inviting the team, availability, pay rules and more. If you set who works where during setup, that item is already ticked.
• In the phone app, sending the invite message also publishes the week.
• Most screens have a Skip button.
