The week fills in an instant. Download it to Excel, print it or send it to the team.
Fair shifts, rest respected
The generator uses the same engine as the app: nobody works two shifts in one day, at least 11 hours pass between shifts (a default for your country) and weekends are shared fairly. These are defaults, not legal advice: check your collective agreement.
If a shift is left uncovered we flag it instead of hiding it. For the following week the app remembers preferences, collects availability and sends the rota to everyone's phone.
Questions about the shift schedule generator
Is it really free?
Yes, no sign-up and no card. The Excel file and the PDF are yours.
Does it respect legal rest times?
It keeps at least 11 hours between shifts, the default for your country. Always check your collective agreement.
How many people can I add?
Up to 8 for one week. For bigger teams, whole months and custom rules there is the app: free up to 5 employees.
Is my data saved?
No: the calculation runs in your browser and names never leave your device.
